The Whole Cyclist website is based on the book for cyclists due out in 2012. My name is Amy Taylor, and I am the writer and coach here. I have been coaching for 16 years and cycling for many more. My passion for riding two wheels has taken me all over the world and I have coached beginner cyclists through to World Champions.
Since a young age I have intentionally investigated the elements that combine in body and mind to create optimal cycling performance. The intention of this website is to share the lessons I have learnt in science, from experience, coaching, and psychology to help you, on your cycling journey.
At the end of the activity, whether we feel we have succeeded or failed in our intention, we seal the act by thinking of others, of those who are succeeding and failing all over the world. We wish that anything we have learned in our experiment could also benefit them.
